These days, every big-budget videogame has a celebrity spokesperson. So how is a fly-under-the-radar stealth assassin suppose to make a splash? By killing our celebrity spokesperson. (After a rigorous audition process of course).
Fans inevitably voted to #KillBusey. So we worked with IO Interactive to build a special in-game mission starring the maniacal man himself as the target.
In Gary vs. Gary,
only Gary survived.
The campaign featured political ads of both Garys working hard to prove that they’d be the best target in the game. Later in the campaign, things got heated between the two candidates as they launched their own political attack ads.

Deadly Game
It was no surprise that Gary Busey won the popular vote. We developed the script for all of his in-game dialogue and actions, giving fans hours of enjoyment tracking this weirdo down just to hear all the crazy things he’d say. Just like in real life. And the internet was forever scarred.
